Trailblazers

From Belva Ann Lockwood, the first woman admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, to Kathleen McCree Lewis and Kay Felt, who began paving the way at Dykema in the 1970s, women have been breaking barriers, building pathways, challenging assumptions, and refusing to accept limits. What started as rewriting the rules has now paved the way for others, like Nicole Y. Lamb-Hale and Deborah Williamson, who continue to follow in the footsteps before them and forge a new path for others.

Appellate pioneers. Circuit Court judges. A U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce. Managing partners. Mentors who demanded excellence with red pens, high expectations, and unwavering support. Dykema women have, and continue to, shatter ceilings and open doors for the next generation.
